About the steel louver door
Generator rooms, transformer rooms and pump houses need air. The SFD 504 louver door lets air pass while keeping the opening secure, with the volume of airflow controlled by louver size and blade design. Blades can diffuse air or direct it, and the door can be fully louvred or only partially, depending on the airflow you need.
Louver doors are available in different models, blade types and finishes, built in our steel fabrication shop to the opening size. Note that a louvred opening is a ventilation opening: where the wall is a fire separation, discuss the requirement with us so the right door type is used.

Questions about this product
Is a louver door a fire door?
A louvred door is primarily a ventilation door. If the opening is in a fire-rated wall, tell us — fire separation and free airflow have to be designed together, and we will recommend the right combination.
Can the louvers be only on part of the door?
Yes. Louvers can cover the full leaf or only a section, sized to the airflow the room needs.
